On August 25 and 26, the very fist startup festival, called iNovuss, will take place in Riga, Latvia, bringing together the brightest minds in technology and innovation.
The festival aims to put a focus on technology and innovation and inspire both those, who are already part of the startup ecosystem, as well as those, who are considering an innovation of their own. On several stages, participants will be able to get inspired by different speakers, as well as meet local and international contacts at the creative workshops.
The festival will include local and international speakers on the "Magnetic Latvia" stage, such as cybersecurity strategist Menny Barzilay, who will talk to us about the dark side of technology. Cecilia Tham will touch on innovations of humanity, and two cyborg-humans, avantgarde actress Moon Ribas and Scott Cohen, will tell us about their experiences in enhancing human traits through technology.
Participation in the festival is free, however advanced registration is required. You can see the program on the festival's website here, and register here. Registered participants will receive a unique QR code that will function as an entrace ticket, as well as a means to access the festival app.
The iNovuss startup festival is organized by LIAA (The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia), and supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
