This hackathon's goal is to generate innovative business ideas within 48 hours and evaluate the potential of the business model of the idea.
To give an opportunity for creative, innovation- and business-minded people to come up with new business ideas, the association Windhackers in cooperation with Liepaja City Council will organise a contest of IT business ideas CultHack Hackathon on 20-22 September.The goal of CultHack Hackathon is within 48 hours to come up with new, innovative business IT ideas in the area of tourism, entertainment and culture, assess the business model potential of these ideas and build interdisciplinary teams for their implementation. The target audience of this event is IT, design, business and communication students, start-up members, culture, entertainment and tourism experts, business representatives and investors.

Pitch your idea (if you want to; it's an open stage format)
Form a team around an idea and make it real
Get coached by some of the toughest industry experts
Present your business model to a panel of expert judges and win amazing prizes
Share and connect with like-minded, passionate individuals
Test the limits of sleeplessness ;)
What do you need to bring?
Lots of energy! You'll pitch your own idea or listen to others, then vote on the most interesting ideas and form teams with diverse skill sets.
You can come with friends, but you’ll get the full experience if you participate in separate teams. Remember, it’s all about the team.Your idea should be something you have not previously worked on. The idea you pitch and the problem you set out to solve can span social, educational, financial, environmental, or other issues. Over the course of the weekend you'll be challenged to create a prototype of your MVP, or minimum viable product, that fits the needs of your target customer. You'll get feedback, iterate, and likely pivot your approach entirely!
Important: You cannot have worked previously on your idea.
